ICE archives Obama enforcement priorities on web site
The federal Priority Enforcement Program, created by President Barack Obama in November 2014, which enforced the deportation priorities of the administration, and by which ICE worked to deport those who were threats to public safety, has been archived on the web site ice.gov.
A message on the site reads "Priority Enforcement Program (PEP) was U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) program from 2015 to 2017. This content is now archived. Read more about the program's history below."
I have a question in to ICE in Washington, D.C., to find out if the Obama deportation priorities have been officially replaced. Stay tuned. I expect to release details tomorrow (Monday, 2/13/17).
